Quality Assurance and Compliance Office (QACO)

The Quality Assurance Office is part of the Education Directorate and has responsibility for:

  • maintaining and enhancing the processes by which the University assures the quality and standards of its awards
  • servicing the University's committees: Education and Student Experience Board, Education and Academic Standards Committee and Course Approval Sub-Committee.
  • providing an administrative liaison between the University and its validated partners who deliver programmes of study leading to a University award under collaborative arrangements
  • working closely with the Graduate and Researcher College, thus ensuring that there is a concerted and collaborative approach to all aspects of quality assurance and enhancement within the University.
