Cycle shelters
There are over 1495 cycle parking spaces available across the Canterbury and Medway campuses that are owned by the University of Kent. This includes a number of covered and KentOne card access only shelters. You can view the location of all Canterbury and Medway-based bike lockups on the maps below.
If you require access after 5 pm or at the weekend please contact Security (security@kent.ac.uk or 01227 823300) who may be able to give you access to a shelter to store your bike until your access request has been processed.

SALTO Card Readers
Black SALTO readers are online devices which allow you to;
- Pick up new access permissions remotely
- Keep your current access permissions active
- Activate your new/replacement Photo ID card.
Shower facilities
There are shower facilities available at:
Canterbury:
- Templeman library (visit reception desk)
- Kent Sport Centre (visit reception desk)
Medway:
- Rochester Building (visit Medway building reception)
There are other shower facilities on campus that have restricted access for specific people.
