Wednesday 22nd April - Earth Day

Read all about our sustainability highlights from the last 12 months (website launching on the 22nd).

Nature Scavenger Hunt at Kent Community Oasis Garden - Celebrate and connect with nature and boost biodiversity and your wellbeing by taking part in this Earth Day Scavenger Hunt. Follow the clues, discover what's on site and claim your prize. Drop-in 11am - 2pm, Students only.

Thursday 23rd April

Plant a Flower - Help create a lasting tapestry of flowering plants on campus outside the Gulbenkian to benefit both wildlife and wellbeing. Hosted by KentCOG and the Landscape and Grounds Team. Supported by ResLife. Drop in 11am -12.30pm.

Talk: Marden Wildlife - Join the Canterbury District Biodiversity Network and their guests from Marden Wildlife to talk about: Community engagement, biodiversity recording and partnerships for nature. KS15, 5.1.5pm. All welcome. No booking required.

Friday 24th April

Gardening Session - Drop-in gardening session at Kent Community Oasis garden. 10am-2pm. Students and Staff.

Monday 27th April

British Sign Language - Learn some sustainability signs from the British sign language society. Instagram @unikent.sustainability (TBC)

Tuesday 28th April

Screening: People's Emergency Briefing - Community screening of the film version of the national emergency briefing in Westminster. Followed by a panel discussion and drinks reception. 6-8.30pm. All welcome. Book here

Wednesday 29th April

Sustainability Forum - Join us for the first of our new sustainability forum meetings. Bringing staff and students together to discuss key sustainability issues at Kent and agree actions to address them. 1-3pm. Students and Staff. Email sustainability@kent.ac.uk to book.
