Description
The Cochrane Library is an online collection of databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. These include:
- The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), the leading resource for systematic reviews and protocols in health care.
- The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) a collection of randomized and quasi-randomized controlled trials. These provide the bibliographic and abstract data for each trial. Full text is only available if we have a subscription to the relevant journal or it is Open Access.
The also provide Clinical Answers on specific topics.
