Debbie has enjoyed teaching in Higher Education for the past ten years at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She uses her industry knowledge having worked in the Business Sector for 15 years, to actively encourage students to apply their learning and experiences at Kent Business School to opportunities in the workplace. Her teaching style is diverse and creative and she is passionate about her teaching areas.
As the MBA Director, she also recruits and supports students who are looking to return to education after establishing themselves in their careers. The Kent MBA programme is highly regarded with accreditations from both AMBA and CMI. It delivers practical and applicable knowledge that enables students who are looking to develop an innovative mindset and responsible management skills to support their career ambitions. The programme combines high-quality teaching with real-world experience and attracts a diverse group of students from different sectors and nationalities. Students gain transformational leadership skills which allow them to make a significant contribution to their organisations or start their own businesses and to support their local and global communities

Previous to Kent Business School Debbie worked as a Senior Manager in Marks and Spencer for 15 years with a diverse career path from Store Management, Store Design and Marketing, Merchandising and finishing as Head of Buying. She continues to be a member of the British Association of Management.
