International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) 2017

The University of Kent's LGBT+ Staff Network has organised a number of activities to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) on Wednesday 17th May 2017. All events are free and open to Kent staff and students and you can view more about the activities that you can attend or take part in, on the LGBT staff blog.

Student Services Medway

In recognition of IDAHOT 2016 (International Day against homophobia and transphobia), Lynne Regan, Student Services EDI Rep at Medway, encouraged everyone to wear as many colours of clothing to work as possible. Also, funds raised from the Student Services cake sale were donated to METRO a service that supports LGBT+ young people in Kent and Medway.
