This Giving Tuesday, we are inviting our American alumni community to come together for something truly special: the 60 Donors in 60 Hours Challenge. It is a celebration of Kent’s 60th Anniversary, 15 years of the Fulbright–University of Kent in America Award and the incredible transatlantic community that continues to grow long after graduation.
Our aim is simple:
But this challenge is about far more than a fundraising target. It is about reconnecting with your Kent family, strengthening the bonds we have built across the United States and welcoming the next UKA Fulbright scholar into our community.
When you studied at Kent, you became part of a global network. When you returned to America, that connection did not fade — it evolved. The University of Kent in America exists to keep that spirit alive: through alumni events, networking opportunities and most importantly, through the Fulbright–University of Kent in America Award.
For the past 15 years, this Award has brought exceptional American scholars to Kent to pursue groundbreaking research — in conservation science, disability studies, forensic anthropology, law, modern history and more. These scholars become part of our extended Kent-in-America family, contributing to their fields and enriching the global Kent story.
