Why I Chose the University of Kent:
Kent offered me a unique combination of Politics and Languages that I couldn't find elsewhere. I was drawn to its diverse and inclusive environment, the strong support systems, and the exceptional opportunities such as study abroad. Growing up in a deprived area, I knew Kent would help me achieve my potential.

My Favourite Memory at Kent:
My best memory at Kent is attending a dinner with the Tennis society in my first year. It was an opportunity to bond with my teammates outside of practice, and it helped me build lasting friendships.

Why I Joined the Campaign:
I’ve hosted webinars and podcasts to discuss important issues, and I want to use my communication skills to make a difference. Having received scholarships that changed my life, I want to encourage others to support students like me.

Why Fundraising Matters:
Scholarships and bursaries allow students from lower socio-economic backgrounds to access opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have. Fundraising helps ease the financial strain on students, especially in a time of rising living costs. It also strengthens the University’s reputation, which in turn attracts more students and resources.
