About

Sylvain Barde is a Lecturer in Economics at the School of Economics of the University of Kent, based in Canterbury. I've also kept an affiliation with my previous department, the Department for Research on Innovation and Competition at OFCE, which is Science-Po's research center for economics. Broadly speaking, my chief research interest lies in new economic geography, although I am also working on theoretical micro and macroeconomics.

Sylvain is a member of the Macroeconomics, Growth and History Centre (MaGHiC) and is the School's Director of Placements (Year in Industry).
