Our Campuses

Our Canterbury and Medway campuses offer a vast number of flexible spaces are available to hire out for your filming needs. One major film producer recently said, ‘Kent has it all’.

Canterbury

Situated in the historic city of Canterbury. Less than an hour away from London St Pancras International on the high-speed line and with close links to Europe via the Channel Tunnel. We have over 150 flexible indoor and outdoor venues, great venues and 300 acres of beautiful parkland, making it an ideal location for your filming project.

Medway

Our campus is within walking distance of the Historic Dockyard which is steeped in history. The campus can be found close to the towns of Rochester and Chatham, with their fascinating histories and part of the redeveloped Chatham Maritime area. It's an ideal location if you are looking for an unusual space to film.

Filming Requirements

Every film crew has different requirements; however, Kent has the flexibility to respond to most requests. Our services and facilities include:

Campus facilities
Car, coach, and large vehicle parking
A dedicated Kent staff member for the duration of your shoot
Flexible on-site catering facilities
Green rooms and crowd holding flat floor spaces
Comfortable on-site accommodation in Visit England graded en-suite rooms and shared houses.
A large student and staff body of "extras" if required.
