The University of Kent values its graduates and alumni and is pleased to offer two special schemes to assist with the cost of postgraduate study.
Students should decide which of the schemes below is more valuable to them but can then hold either the Graduate School Scholarship or the Loyalty Discount in conjunction with other awards, except where these awards offer full tuition fees and a UK Research Council equivalent maintenance grant.
For the purpose of these funding schemes the terms graduate and alumni are used to define former students who hold a University of Kent Bachelor´s, Master´s or Doctoral degree certificate.
Graduate School Scholarships
The Graduate School Scholarship Scheme was established in 2009 to celebrate the founding of the University's Graduate School. This successful scholarship has been renewed annually since then.
The scholarship provides a £1,000* reduction in tuition fees to University of Kent 2013 graduates who earn a Bachelors degree with honours (or undergraduate Masters degree) and register for a postgraduate degree at Kent by 1 October 2013.
There is no need to make a separate application. The tuition fee reduction will be provided to all eligible 2013 graduates on registration.
The University of Kent offers a broad variety of postgraduate study and research opportunities across a range of superb locations in Canterbury, Medway, Brussels and Paris.
Our postgraduates benefit from teaching and supervision by world-leading researchers and have access to excellent facilities and training opportunities.
The University has made considerable investments in postgraduate studies in recent years. The Graduate School is responsible for the strategic development of graduate education and research within the University.
