Annual Bolt Lecture

The 2013 Bolt Lecture will be by Susan McHugh, Professor of English at the University of New England.  It takes place on Wednesday 8 May in Rutherford LT1 at 5.30pm. The lecture title is: 'Unsettling the Dead: Natives, Americans, Genocides, and Extinctions'.

Scholarships Available for 2013 Entry

A £2000 scholarship for each year of study is available for those taking American Studies at Kent on gaining AAA at A-Level (or equivalent). Click here for further details.

American Studies 5th in the Country

American Studies at Kent gained a top 5 position in the latest league table published in the Times Good University Guide 2013.The Guardian's league table for 2013 meanwhile placed Kent 9th in the country for its American Studies programme.
