Introduction

Central School of Ballet was founded by Christopher Gable and Ann Stannard in 1982. They established the ethos of the school and integrity of training which has enabled hundreds of students to take up successful careers in the dance profession. The school continues to build on this foundation, keeping pace with the changes in the professional world whilst ensuring training and education of the highest standard to help each student to fulfill his or her potential.

Conventions

All programmes are subject to the University's conventions as expressed in the Credit Framework.

With the following exceptions:

i. The Foundation Degree is operated on a Pass/Fail basis.

ii. A 50% pass mark is used on specific modules on the Foundation Degree, for students commencing prior to September 2014.
