Making the past present

Studying History at Kent means being part of a subject that values curiosity, debate and asking good questions. You’ll explore the people, events and ideas that have shaped the world, while learning how to analyse evidence, challenge different viewpoints and form your own arguments. Teaching is informed by active research, but always focused on discussion, support and helping you grow in confidence as a historian.

History at Kent is also about developing skills you can use long after you graduate.
