School of Mathematics, Statistics & Actuarial Science

Cesar is an SMSAS alumnus, having completed his doctoral studies in 2015. His research was in the area of Poisson Algebras and their Deformations under the supervision of Stephane Launois. Together with Andrew Kitchin he organised the Kent Algebra Days Young Researchers event held in July 2014 and he and Andrew jointly organised our postgraduate seminar programme in 2013-14. He now organises the School's Algebra seminars series. Prior to taking up his current lectureship Cesar was awarded an LMS 150th Anniversary Postdoctoral Mobility Grant to visit the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
