- Kimberly Sequeira
Kimberly is a PhD student in Social Psychology at the University of Kent. She is currently looking into the relationship between intersectionality, representations, identity salience, and the police. Kimberly is particularly interested in exploring how identity affects policing, as well as the effect of tokenistic perception.
Kimberly is focused on group-oriented social identity to understand tokenistic perceptions and policing practices. During her PhD, she aims to understand the interaction between intersectional identities and how they affect police perception and practices. Kimberly uses a mixed-method approach to develop a holistic understanding of identity's role in policing and collaboration with the police.
