Scholarships for international students

The University has a long tradition of welcoming students from all around the world and we are pleased to have funding opportunities available for students from a wide range of countries.

Our Kent International Scholarships are guaranteed tuition fee discounts to international applicants who meet the criteria listed. There's no need to apply - if you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive notification of the award shortly after accepting an offer to study at Kent!

Kent International Scholarship for Undergraduates

International applicants who receive and accept an offer for a Kent undergraduate programme starting in September 2027, could receive the Kent International Scholarship (UG) of £5,000 (subject to the eligibility criteria). Further details on eligibility criteria and deadlines coming soon!

The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver.

£3,000 will be applied as a tuition fee waiver in the first stage of your degree
£2,000 will be applied as a tuition fee waiver when you progress to the second stage of your degree.
If you are studying with us for just one year, you will receive the £3,000 tuition fee waiver only

You do not need to make an application, the award will be added to your application once you have accepted your offer, although please allow a few weeks to receive your scholarship offer.

Chevening Scholarship September 2027/28

The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend, travel costs to and from the UK, the cost of a visa application as well as a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK.
