These are the Terms and Conditions for the Fee Mak Radio Presenter Masterclass Competition.
1. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to girls aged 14-18 at the time of entry.
- Entrants must have parental/guardian consent to participate.
- Entrants must be able to travel to the University of Kent’s Canterbury Campus on 6th March 2024.
2. How to Enter
- To enter, submit a 30-second video or audio recording introducing yourself and explaining why you want the experience.
- Entries must be submitted via email to careerhelp@kent.ac.uk along with:
- Full name
- Contact details (mobile number and email address)
- Parental/guardian consent confirmation
- Confirmation of ability to attend the masterclass
- The deadline for entries is 23:59 GMT on 26th February 2024.
3. Winner Selection and Prize
- BBC Radio One DJ Fee Mak will review all entries and select the winners.
- The selected winners will be contacted via email by 29th February 2024.
- The prize is a three-hour radio presenter masterclass at the University of Kent’s CSRFM radio studios on 6th March 2024 (16:00-19:00 GMT).
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.
4. Publicity
By entering the Competition, winners consent to the use of their first name and submit recordings for promotional purposes related to the masterclass. This may include social media, University of Kent websites, and related promotional materials.
5. Liability
- The University of Kent is not responsible for any travel costs, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred by participants.
- The University of Kent reserves the right to amend or cancel the Competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
- The University of Kent is not responsible for any technical issues affecting entry submissions.
