International Foundation Programme

The first step towards your Kent undergraduate degree

Our one-year full-time International Foundation Programme (IFP) is the perfect first step towards realising your ambitions.

It's designed for international students as a way to bridge the gap between your current knowledge and qualifications and undergraduate study level.

Guaranteed progression to your chosen degree

We offer guaranteed progression to over 230 undergraduate courses at Kent. Meet the progression requirements for your degree and you can begin your studies without making a UCAS application to the University.

Kent's undergraduate degrees are some of the best in the UK, designed to challenge you and take your studies to the highest level.

In 2022, 100% of our students progressed onto Kent degree programmes.

You'll be a full member of our diverse student community from day one, with access to all the study, social, sports and support facilities the University offers.

Our Canterbury campus is situated close to the medieval city of Canterbury, while our Medway campus is built on a former historic naval base. Both campuses have excellent links to London and beyond.
