Andrey Launov is Senior Lecturer in Labour Economics and joined the School of Economics in July 2016.

Andrey is a member of the Macroeconomics, Growth and History Centre (MaGHiC) and is Director of Graduate Studies and Chief Examiner (MSc Programmes). He is also a member of the School's Strategic Management Team.

Research interests

Andrey Launov's research interests include microeconometrics and labour economics, with particular focus on structural econometric evaluation of public policies and quantification of the models of labour force dynamics. He is equally interested in an array of topics in development (especially informality) and population economics.
