Dr Keisuke Otsu

About

Keisuke Otsu is an Honorary Lecturer at the School of Economics at Kent and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business and Commerce at Keio University, Japan. He received his PhD from the UCLA Department of Economics in 2006. He worked at the Bank of Japan Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies as a Research Economist and at Sophia University Faculty of Liberal Arts as an Assistant Professor before joining the University of Kent as a Lecturer at the School of Economics from 2010 to 2017. He moved to Keio University Faculty of Business and Commerce in 2017.

Research interests

Keisuke's research interest lies within the fields of quantitative macroeconomics, open economy macroeconomics and economic growth. His current research topics include population aging, structural transformation and financial crises.
