Hut 8 will be closed from Monday 1 - Monday 15 December 2025 (inclusive) for a refurbishment of the space.
This upgrade will deliver a refreshed and more student-friendly environment, with an updated modernised design, including an improved layout for socialising, study breaks, and group meetups.
Hut 8 will reopen Tuesday 16 December - Friday 19 December, before closing for the winter break. It will officially reopen on Friday 2 January 2026 with its brand-new look.
Alongside the newly refurbished space, we are excited to introduce the Tuk Tuk Coffee Cart, serving a range of pastries and grab-and-go favourites. The Tuk Tuk will also proudly serve Social Impact Coffee, a speciality roastery with a big idea: that every cup of coffee shouldn’t just taste good but should do good. 65% of their profits go directly into local community causes.
Whether you’re popping by for breakfast before a lecture or grabbing lunch with friends, the refreshed Hut 8 will have something for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you back when Hut 8 reopens on Tuesday 16 December. Keep an eye out on our Time2Eat catering app for offers, opening times, online ordering and loyalty offers.
