Where to start

What do you need to do before you come to Kent? There are a few things, but if you sort them out now, you can get back to focussing on your studies and enjoying the prospect of starting here in September.

Book your visit

Visiting Kent is the best way to get an impression of what it is really like to study here.

You will be normally be invited to attend an Applicant Day when you receive either an offer of a place or an invitation to attend an interview.

If you are made an offer via UCAS you can view the available Applicant Days and book a place via the My Events page in your Applicant Portal.

If you are unable to attend an Applicant Day, or the Applicant Days for your course are now finished, you can book an informal visit.

Understand your offer

Here we answer your frequently asked questions about offers from Kent. These range from explaining tariff offers and who to contact, through to what to do when you get your results.

Apply for accommodation

We offer accommodation to new full-time undergraduate students starting in September for the first year of study, provided the following criteria are met:

  • you firmly accept (ie as your first choice) either a conditional or unconditional offer from this University by 31 July
  • the University receives your online application for accommodation by 31 July.

We hope to offer University accommodation to Insurance, Late, Adjustment and Clearing acceptances where possible (subject to availability).
