Amy Kaprow Mezey

Amy counts her Junior Year Abroad at Kent as one of the happiest years of her youth. Once or twice a year she continues to meet up with her Kent gang of friends for festive reunions in London.

Amy Kaprow Mezey lives in New York City, but was raised on Long Island, NY and Pasadena, CA. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley in History and Anthropology, married for 40 years to Philip Mezey, and the mother of two adult sons.

Amy is now retired but she is involved with several NYC based activities, including as a Board committee volunteer for her Manhattan Co-Op, a volunteer at NYC Ballet, and a member of CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team for NYC. For the past few years Amy has been a Co-Chair of the NYC Chapter of the UKA Alumni network.

In her spare time Amy enjoys visiting museum exhibits, going to the Ballet, gardening at her Co-Op building, riding horses, and traveling. Amy is delighted to be on the Board of the University of Kent in America.
