Gender in academic departments: the Gender Audit model
On Thursday 6th March, colleagues from the Department of Politics and International Relations will report on the process of designing and conducting a gender audit within their own department – an initiative which was partially supported by the University’s Challenge Fund. Claire Tanner, Charles Devellennes and Pol/IR academic staff will consider the implications of their findings for learning and teaching, and the extent to which their approach can be replicated or built upon in other departments and settings.
This session is part of the Academic Practice Forum which runs regularly on Thursday lunchtimes, 12.15 - 2.00pm, in the UELT Seminar Room. To book a place, please email cpdbookings@kent.ac.uk. A sandwich lunch will be provided to participants who book at least 2 days in advance. Other participants are welcome to bring their own lunch.
