Modules
Structure of the Programme
The PGCHE is a flexible programme consisting of two core modules and various option modules, chiefly at Masters level. The combination of modules that you take depends on the extent of your previous teaching experience, on the nature of your work at the university and your own interests. ATAP students are required to take the two core modules only.

- UN819 An Introduction to Learning,Teaching and the Academic Environment (15 credits)
- UN820 Critical Perspectives on Academic Practice (15 credits)
Optional Modules
- UN812 Developing as a Researcher in Higher Education (15 credits)
- UN813 Developing as a Research Degree Supervisor (15 credits)
- UN814 The Inclusive Curriculum (15 credits)
- UN815 Technology in the Academic Environment (15 credits)
- UN816 Learning and Teaching Innovation (15 credits)
- UN821 Assessment and Professional Development (15 credits)
You will need to choose your modules so that the core module(s) and optional modules together add up to 60 credits if you are taking the PGCHE.
