Kent Business School was like a small global village

During the recruitment cycle for September 2009, we received a record number of applications for postgraduate study from over 100 countries.

In this section, we are building up a selection of student profiles. We hope that you will come back to read about them as they will give you true insight into what learning and life is like at Kent.

Find out why they chose Kent Business School, what they are learning from their course and what their aspirations are. We are sure they will inspire you.

If you would like to talk to a current student from your country, please contact the relevant Programme Director.

Our Current Students and Kent Business School: a partnership that lasts a lifetime.

Your degree is something that will remain on your CV for the rest of your life. Kent Business School is committed to "safeguarding" the value of your qualification by constantly reviewing and enhancing our progammes, forging partnerships with organisations around the world and building our reputation.

Current students are encouraged from the start to help us achieve this. The Student/Staff consultative Committee meets five times a year. It is co-chaired by a student representative and a member of staff and there is one for the undergraduates and one for the postgraduates. This committee allows students to participate fully in the daily running of the School. The student chair also meets with Kent Business School director, Professor Paul Phillips, in what is known as The Director's Brief so that he is personally aware of the concerns facing our students.

If you would like to be a student rep or a student ambassador to help build the Kent Business School brand, contact the Student Office.
