Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services, London
Unravelling the Lehman legacy
Speaker: Mr. Adrian Teng
One year on from the downfall of Lehman Brothers, the image of executives leaving the building with their belongings in a cardboard box still lingers. The subsequent effect and the recession that followed has tested our beliefs in the existing economic and financial structures. Described by the media as the worst recession in 100 years, the every-day-man-in-the-street has experienced the significant impact on our daily lives.
Mr Adrian Teng, Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services, London. (http://www.alvarezandmarsal.com/). is currently on the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc restructuring / unwind engagement. He is the European Treasurer, responsible for all liquidity, cash management, funding, hedging, FX, and bank relations for all Lehman entities in Europe. In addition, he supports the Private Equity / Principle Investment and Derivatives workstreams from a management perspective.
Today, Kent MBA students, alumni, corporate guests and colleagues will have an opportunity to hear first-hand from Mr. Teng and to discuss with him, what goes on behind the scenes in what is left of the Lehman Brothers saga.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr.Teng has had a global career starting out in Merrill Lynch and includes senior management roles in Citigroup and ABN Amro. He has worked in Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, and London and holds an MBA and a MSc in Public Policy & Management.
Following the presentation, guests are invited to continue the discussion over afternoon tea.
