Emily Barton

About

Emily is the
Research Coordinator within the Business Development, Research and Innovation
team (BDRI). It is a varied role helping to organise training events, presentations and events, as well as supporting the Head of Research and Innovation operations with ongoing projects.
Emily joined the university in 2021 starting within the taught programmes team before moving over to work within research and innovation. Emily previously had a lengthy
stint working in local government before moving to Canterbury College to work with the additional learning support team.
Outside
of work Emily enjoys long walks on the beach with her sausage dog and sitting down to work on her latest crochet project
