At Kent, studying languages gives you choice and flexibility. You can pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in languages such as French, German, Spanish, and Italian, with expert teaching from native speakers and excellent learning support. 

Our Year in a Language option lets you immerse yourself for a full year, enriching your degree and building confidence in real-world communication.

Even if a full language degree isn’t for you, we offe plenty of ways to learn a language alongside your studies. Modules and extracurricular classes through the Language Centre include Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, and more. 

From intensive immersion courses and our supportive Language Gym to flexible evening classes, we make studying a language a powerful way to prepare for global careers.
