Student conduct and complaints office

Welcome to the Student Conduct and Complaints Office website.

The Student Conduct and Complaints Office (SCCO) was established in September 2013, following internal review. The office currently has two members of staff, Mrs Alison Mansell, Student Conduct and Complaints Manager and Ms Suzanne Ridley, Community Liaison Officer.

The office is responsible for all student complaints, student discipline and all University-related complaints from the local community.

The office supports the implementation of the Complaints Procedure for Students and the Regulations on Student Discipline in relation to non-academic matters and offers impartial advice and support to Academic Schools and University Departments. It is also the point of contact between the University and the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA).
