Over the next few years we aim to transform and modernise how we teach, learn, and work together so that we provide an inspiring, student‑centred experience, stay strong academically and financially, and remain adaptable and responsive to the changing needs of our students and the wider world.
Building on feedback
What people want from university is changing and we're also seeing a more varied mix of students coming to us, so we need to shape our activity around this more closely.
We are taking a modern approach to education to create a more flexible, supportive, and future-focused learning experience at Kent.
By expanding core module content, we are simplifying timetables and releasing them earlier, helping students plan their time more effectively. This also enables greater flexibility during the week, including our goal of providing one day free for employment, sport, and other commitments.
We have also redesigned our course portfolio in response to future student demand. Where courses have been phased out, we are ensuring that all current students continue to receive full support through to the completion of their degrees.
Whether you're looking to grow your skills, network, reputation or business, our University at the heart of Kent and Medway's community is the place to start.
