Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research

Making sense of the social world

We offer a range of undergraduate degrees at two campuses: our main Canterbury campus and the nearby Medway campus. The range of social sciences subjects we offer enables you to specialise whilst also providing the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience more broadly. Degree programmes and modules are regularly reviewed to ensure that they reflect current issues and debates and we ensure that our graduates are fully equipped with a range of transferrable workplace skills.

All of our programmes, many of which include opportunities to study abroad or work placements, are listed below. More information can be found on our Study abroad and Placements pages.

In addition to your degree, you can spend a year studying web technologies with the School of Computing. Students who successfully complete the Computing year and their home degree will graduate 'with a Year in Computing'.
