Save files securely to the Kent network and access them on or off campus
Functionality
University of Kent file storage offers secure storage and back-up for all your documents, images and other files. The service is accessible from student and staff PCs or from your own computer from on and off campus (from off campus you need to use the Kent VPN).
Tips for using this tool at Kent
- Use OneDrive for easy access from anywhere on any device. Use the Kent network as a back up, or to access departmental folders (avoid the need to use USB sticks).

Help & how to get started

- How to find your folder from your laptop/PC/Mac.
- Install the Kent VPN to enable off-campus access.
- To access your school or department's shared network storage, please speak to your IT Administrator or School Admin Manager.
- If you need network storage setting up for a specific group or research project, contact your IT Administrator or the IT Service Desk.
Cost
- Staff and students can save up to 2GB for free.
- If you need extra departmental storage, or storage for a specific project, there may be a cost. Please contact the IT Service Desk.
