This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in January 2026 only.

Applicants who have applied for a Masters which includes an integrated pre-Masters are not eligible to receive the scholarship.

This award is not stackable unless the applicant is coming to us through a progression agreement, in which case both the Kent Future Students Global Scholarship - Postgraduate Taught and progression discount can be awarded. Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful then you will receive the higher value award. The Kent Future Students Global Scholarship - Postgraduate Taught will then be retracted.
This award is also open to international students who are normally domiciled in an eligible country, but who are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.
* Please see ‘How to Apply’ section for USA deposit requirements.
**Please note that these deadlines cannot be extended under any circumstances.
If you have received your offer (conditional or unconditional) and have not yet paid the international deposit you can pay via our online store, which will also give you the option to pay via Flywire:
• Applicants new to Kent
• Applicants who are currently studying at Kent
To help verify the deposit and confirm the scholarship, we recommend that applicants pay via a non-bank transfer option. Once you’ve done this, no further action is required. However, if you do pay via bank transfer you will need to email your proof of payment to international@kent.ac.uk order to be eligible for the scholarship.
There is no application process. All eligible applicants who have paid their deposit by the stated deadlines will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept.
If you would like to check your eligibility, to verify a deposit payment, or for any general queries regarding this award, please contact international@kent.ac.uk.
*In accordance with US Federal and Title IV regulations, a tuition fee deposit will not be a requirement for US students to be awarded this scholarship. The scholarship may still be awarded before a tuition fee deposit has been paid.
All international students including US students are required to pay a tuition fee deposit to secure their place, demonstrate commitment to studying, and to ensure the university can issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for visa applications. Students who are eligible and apply for a US federal student loan to cover the full cost of the tuition fees will be exempt from paying the tuition fee deposit. Any applicant who provides verified documents confirming that they will be fully funded by a scholarship or sponsored by a national/government-based organisation, will also be exempt from paying the tuition fee deposit.
