About

Ana is a PhD Research Student within the Centre of Research and Education in Forensic Psychology (CORE-FP).

Ana completed her BSc (Hons) in Psychology and MSc in Forensic Psychology at London Metropolitan University.

Ana is currently working within the Youth Justice Service in a Youth Offending Service with young people aged 11 to 18 years old.

Research interests

Ana's primary research interests are in the area of forensic psychology, with a focus on adolescent males involved in serious youth violence. The aim of her PhD research is to look at the role of fear and masculinity in knife crime and knife carrying.
