As part of the University's 60th anniversary celebrations, a performance from scratch of Fauré's sublime Requiem!

This event is open to everyone - particularly to University alumni singers and orchestral players, as part of the University's 60th anniversary celebrations.

If you would like to take part, please email the Music Administrator, Sophie Meikle, so we can organise sufficient scores and orchestral parts.

An opportunity to come together and perform Fauré's evocative and ravishingly colourful piece, and to catch up with friends old and new!  

Event outline:

10.30am Coffee and registration (Colyer-Fergusson Hall)

11am - 1pm Rehearsal

1 - 2pm Lunch  (own arrangements)

2 - 4pm Rehearsal

4 - 5pm Break; practice rooms available to use as dressing-rooms

5 - 5.35pm Performance

Dress code for the performance: formal, long black ladies; black shirt and trousers, gentlemen (blazers optional).
