Owen is the Academic Misconduct Lead for the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. Owen also serves on the Mitigation Committee for SMSAS. Owen is an academic staff representative on the Joint Committee of Council and Senate on Academic Freedom & Freedom of Expression.
Owen teaches in areas of probability, statistics and data science.
