The collections cover the whole of Kent, but are strongest in material on East Kent, Canterbury and Thanet.
A list of local acts of Parliament included in the collection is available. You can also view a list of the plates included in our copy of John Harris's History of Kent, published in 1719.
The original collection has been augmented by the gift of the Ronald A. Baldwin Collection of Kent local history books. The two book collections have been amalgamated, but LibrarySearch shows which items are from the Baldwin Collection. The Ronald A. Baldwin archival collection is currently uncatalogued.
