About the Foyle Foundation

The Foyle Foundation was established in 2000 as an independent grant making trust to distribute grants to U.K. based charities (primarily arts and learning) and schools. It has distributed over £185M in total to over 7,000 charities and state schools across the U.K. The Foyle Foundation Completed its Grant Giving Programme in 2025. 

The Foundation was governed by a Board of Trustees who met regularly throughout the year to review strategy, consider applications and make decisions on grants.
