KIASH Archive

Welcome to the KIASH archive

Until 2015, the Kent Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (KIASH) co-ordinated research activity in all fields of the humanities.

KIASH supported a range of activities - seminars, guest-speaker programmes, conferences, colloquia, day-schools organised by the constituent Schools of the Faculty of Humanities in Kent (Architecture, Arts, English, European Culture and Languages, History and the School of Music and Fine Art) and our various interdisciplinary Research Centres.

KIASH hosted distinguished Visiting Professors and welcomed Visiting Lecturers / Researchers who wished to advance their work in our various proceedings. The research activity in question had be carried out at an advanced level and aimed at an audience of Faculty staff and research students. As part of the activities, KIASH also provided a forum for the presentation, development and enhancement of graduate research.
