Scholarships for international students
The University has a long tradition of welcoming students from all around the world and we are pleased to have funding opportunities available for students from a wide range of countries.
We're pleased to be part of the British Council GREAT scholarship scheme, offering £10,000 scholarships, as well as the chance to attend British Council networking events with other GREAT scholars. There's no essay requirement, but you will need to submit a brief application.
If you are from France or India and have applied for a one year January Taught Masters course, you may be eligible to be considered for our GREAT scholarships, worth £10,000 towards the fees.
This year our September offering is for postgraduate taught students on a one year course who are from Ghana, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand and Turkey. More details coming soon.
If you are starting at Kent in January 2026, you could qualify for the Kent Future Student Scholarships, worth up to £5,000 (or £6,000 if combined with the Kent Business School bursary!):
