Dr Susanna Paisley

About

 With nearly a quarter century of involvement with DICE, Dr Paisley has been a PhD student, lecturer, member of staff working on Development, and Honorary Research Fellow with DICE also Secretary to the Durrell Trust for Conservation Biology. In a departure from academia, in 2010, she started a business creating hand-illustrated fabrics and wallpapers that portray species and habitats of conservation concern. The sale of the products raises funds for conservation and has the work has won numerous awards. Her PhD and publications focussed on the bear species native to the Andes, human/animal interaction and conservation policy.
