Offer Holder Days at the University of Kent

Our Offer Holder Days are always buzzing, join Kent student Abigail as she talks you through what to expect at an Offer Holder Day. From meeting our students and staff to touring our accommodation and facilities.

What to expect on the day

Offer Holder Days at Kent are about more than just visiting a campus, they’re about imagining yourself living and studying here. If you’ve received an offer this is your opportunity to explore what life as a Kent student could look like and decide if it feels right for you.

You’ll join sessions led by your academic school, where you’ll explore your subject in more detail, meet the tutors who could be teaching you and speak to current students about their experiences, with opportunities to ask any questions you may have about student life and study at Kent.

Through introductory talks, lectures and demonstrations, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your subject and what your course will involve. You’ll also connect with like-minded students who you may go on to study alongside, helping you build early connections and feel part of the Kent community.

You’ll have time to explore our campus, tour our accommodation and see the spaces where you could be studying, living and spending your time. Teams from key services including accommodation and student finance will be available to answer questions and help you feel prepared for the practical side of university life.

An Offer Holder Day is your chance to picture yourself at Kent, by the end of the day, you’ll have a clearer sense of whether Kent is the right place for you and be ready to take your next step.
