Undergraduates

University of Kent Financial Support Package for full-time students

  • £7,000 fee waiver, £1,000 cash bursary, a further £1,000 on your Kent student account (year one only).
  • Applicants must have a household income of £42,600 (or less) and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants resident in England.

University of Kent Financial Support Package for part-time students

  • £7,000 (pro-rata) fee waiver (year one only).
  • Applicants must have a household income of £42,600 (or less) and meet other criteria.
  • Open to part-time applicants resident in England.

Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence

  • £2,000 for each year of study.
  • Applicants must have AAA at A level (or specified equivalent) and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants from any country.

Study Abroad Scholarships

  • £2,000 (pro-rata) during a year abroad (on courses with an approved year abroad).
  • Applicants must have AAB at A level (or specified equivalent) and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants from UK and EU.

Sports Scholarships (Kent Sports website)

  • Financial support of between £250 - £5,000 pa, plus other benefits including free sports membership.
  • Applicants must be competitors of any sport at (at least) county level or equivalent and meet other criteria.
  • Open to applicants from any country.

Music Scholarships (Music at Kent website)

  • Up to £5,000 pa (Music Performance Scholarship), or £500 pa (Music Lesson Scholarship).
  • Applicants must meet a range of specified criteria.
  • Open to all new students from any country.

Enterprise Rent-a-Car Scholarship for Kent Business School (Medway) students

  • £700 towards study cost for one year (at Kent Business School, Medway Campus).
  • Applicants must be stage 1 undergraduates at Kent Business School, Medway, and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants from any country.

Barbara Harris Scholarship for Kent Business School students

  • £1,000 for each year of study on selected Kent Business School courses, subject to good academic progress.
  • Applicants must permanently reside in postcode area CT1 to CT21 or CT50 and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants who are UK residents classed as a 'Home' student.

Daily Mail Scholarship for Journalism students

  • £5,000 towards tuition fees and a work placement at the Daily Mail.
  • Applicants must be final year Journalism and the News Industry BA students, during academic year 2013/14.
  • Open to full-time applicants.

Martin Cook Scholarship for Humanities students

  • £1,000 pa for the duration of studies (normally three or four years).
  • Applicants must have accepted a place on a Kent humanities course and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants who are UK residents.

Gurkha Scholarship

  • Covers tuition fees for a programme of study.
  • Applicants must be (or be dependents of) serving or former members of Gurkha brigades located in Kent, and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants from any country.

Partner Scholarship

  • £1,000 pa for each year of study.
  • Applicants must attend one of the University's partner schools or colleges and meet other criteria.
  • Open to full-time applicants from any country.
