KLS has offered graduate programmes in environmental law since 1994 and has developed an international reputation as a leading centre for research and teaching in environmental law.
We offer specialist Masters programme in Environmental Law and Policy and in International Environmental Law, while students can also study environmental law in combination with other areas offered by KLS.
We offer dedicated teaching in environmental law, covering International, European and national law, and spanning areas such as Climate Change and Renewable Energy Law, Environmental Quality Law, International Trade and the Environment, Conservation and Natural Resources Law and Land Development Law. We also offer a full programme of outside speakers who share their knowledge and practical expertise with us.
We have a number of staff who specialise in environmental law research, and who welcome applications for doctoral research.
We also encourage our students to get involved in activities beyond KLS, such as internship opportunities and collaboration with graduate students at other institutions, and maintain close links with many of our alumni who are working across the globe. Some examples are found in our News pages.
