For many students coming to university means moving away from home for the first time. However if you're coming to Kent there's no need to worry. Our accommodation will seem like a home from home and as soon as you arrive, our reception and housekeeping teams will be on hand to help you settle in.
Our beautiful 450 acre parkland campus offers a superb range of affordable accommodation that's clean, comfortable, safe and within easy reach of the historic city of Canterbury. At Kent you'll find over 4,300 rooms for undergraduates and postgraduates, all well furnished and maintained to a high standard. Our wide range of accommodation choices includes en suite rooms, study bedrooms with wash basins and flats/ houses with fully equipped kitchens. All rooms have high speed internet access, with Skype and IPTV services also available.
At Medway, our brand new state-of-the-art en suite accommodation at Liberty Quays is located just a short walk from the campus. This is part of the new dynamic 'waterside village' called Victory Pier and is set along the banks of the River Medway next to Gillingham Marina.
In addition to our on-campus accommodation, we will help you locate suitable off-campus housing in the Canterbury and Medway areas. Only University of Kent students are able to access our comprehensive online list of local properties, all of which have to meet relevant safety and quality standards.
