The School of Economics offers a range of MSc programmes designed for students who wish to pursue careers in the private or public sector, or as a preparation for a research career. All of the taught Masters programmes run for 12 months and consist of taught modules and a dissertation. You write your dissertation under the direction of an experienced supervisor.
We offer a structure which enables you to combine advanced training in core economic theory and quantitative skills with more specialist options such as financial economics or international finance, or with more policy-related options such as international development, agricultural economics and applied environmental economics.
