In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we are working to establish a sustainable DICE Scholarship Fund.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US Meeting the biodiversity crisis demands the work of more and better-trained conservation professionals. DICE aims to raise £12m to create a permanent endowment capable of awarding 35 scholarships and bursaries a year to outstanding postgraduate students from regions where DICE believes increased capacity could make the greatest difference to conservation – notably Indo‐China, the countries of the former USSR, and the Middle East; and also to selected countries within our traditional constituencies in Africa, Asia and the Americas where no scholarship programmes are currently offered. For more information, please download our Case for Support. DonationsCHEQUES & CREDIT CARDS Our Donation and Gift Aid Form is available here. Credit card and cheque payments may be made using the same form.UK taxpayers are requested to use the Gift Aid Scheme, which increases the value of your gift to DICE. Any sum can therefore be given tax efficiently by UK taxpayers under the Gift Aid scheme. Higher rate taxpayers can also claim a higher rate tax relief, reducing the cost of their gift significantly. ONLINE We will have an online giving site set up soon. Charitable StatusDonations through the University of Kent are eligible for match funding. For more information please contact Susanna Paisley. The Durrell Trust for Conservation Biology is chaired by DICE founder, Prof Ian Swingland. Its objectives are to raise grants, scholarships and endowments for DICE so that it can stay true to its mission. It is a registered charity (No. 1003671) and can recieve tax exempt donations.
