Future Ready Fashion: Clothes Swap

Join us for National Student Money Week's clothes swap!

The KSU Advice Service are collaborating with the Kent Gold Programme for a future ready clothes swap event! Students can donate unwanted items and ‘go shopping’ without spending a penny!

The more clothes you donate, the more items you get to swap! Donations will be taken two weeks before the event at the following locations: Mandela Building (Monday 23rd Feb – Thursday 5th March, 10:00 – 17:00)Sports Centre (Friday 27th Feb 13:30 - 17:30 and Monday 2nd March 13:30 - 17:30) Rutherford Extension (Monday 2nd March 10:00 - 12:00 noon)Clothes will be checked for quality and cleanliness (a maximum of 10 items can be donated). Please note we will collect your name and student ID, this is so that we can allocate you the correct amount of items on the day. We will accept all good condition clothes, shoes, accessories and bags. We cannot accept underwear or socks/tights. Donations are preferred before the event, but can be accepted on the day, although this will be more time consuming. No clothes to donate? No problem! You’ll get 2 tokens at the door to ‘spend’ inside the Venue. We will also be running a freecycle stand at the event. Freecycle is all about reusing and keeping the good stuff out of landfills! KSU collect unwanted items and give them away to those students who need them. Lets reduce waste on campus and save money for future long term goals together! Please bring your own bags to take away clothing.
